Staff Professional Development

At King James's School, we place great value on staff professional development. Whatever your role in school, there is training for you, whether it be delivered by in-house experts, external providers or as part our extensive online offer.

Each year we set out a carefully thought-out and well-devised programme, designed specifically to address identified school improvement issues. Through a combination of Inset days and calendared Monday twilight sessions, the programme may be delivered to the whole staff, curriculum teams or by career-stage.

We identify emerging talent and future leaders are encouraged to enrol on National Professional Qualification courses with the Ambition Insititute. By developing knowledge and skills in our teachers we make our classroom teachers the best they can be.
